I am unbiased here on Blogging Diabetes. To prove it, I want to share some information about the JDRF UK AWARE campaign for the World Diabetes Day (WDD) on November 14th.

JDRF Activities

  1. The first is Leave a Message for Gordon Brown. We want to encourage people affected by type 1 diabetes to leave a message for Gordon Brown, asking the UK Government for increased type 1 research funding. We’ll be delivering all the messages to Downing Street in a memorable fashion! Leave your message here.
  2. Secondly, we want everyone to turn their social networking profiles blue on the 14th November in support of World Diabetes Day. Further information about how to do this, click here — get involved to show your support through Facebook, Twitter and Myspace
  3. Finally, we are creating the World’s Longest Viral here.  Launching soon, anyone can add to it, highlighting the life long nature of type 1 diabetes. Once it’s live, have a go and pass onto your friends.

Help out the JDRF by showing your support.  Thanks Chloe for the information!
