@ Cherise - I completely agree.  I think those with diabetes are most likely to die from a complication of having diabetes for many years.  Like you said, unless it&#039;s from a hypo/hyper episode.  So what I really don&#039;t understand is what would someone be classified as dying from if they had heart disease and diabetes.  Heart disease is #1 on the list.

Regardless, the numbers are scary and this disease is horrible.  I just wonder how accurate the numbers are and what is behind the diabetes figures.
