There is no purchase necessary to enter or win a prize.  This offering is only available to those located in the 50 states of the United States and is at least 18 years old.   The rules can be found here.  FYI – you don’t need to be a diabetic to enter.  Really, you just need to know one, which includes pets with diabetes.

Basically, you fill out a survey to 6 questions (multiple choice) and agree to their terms.  It’s that simple.  The only bad news is that there will be two drawings ($10,000 ea.) on or about October 5th 2009 and October 5th 2010.  So you can’t run off and start racking up the credit card just yet.  It could be October 2010 before you are declared a winner.
